Lost Objects LLC ("Lost Objects," "we," "us," or "our") is a social media strategy and management company based in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, use our services, or apply to our community.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us. We collect it in four places and nowhere else: our contact form, the Free Lesson popup email signup, the Join the Team application, and the Lost Objects: After Hours community application. This information may include:

When your browser loads it, our hosting provider and the services that deliver parts of the page (listed below) receive the basic technical information every web request carries, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the page requested.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe from our marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link in every message.
Our Free Lesson popup links to a seminar video hosted by Filmmakers Academy, a separate company. When you follow links to third party sites, including the seminar host, any information you provide there becomes subject to those sites' own privacy policies and terms, which Lost Objects does not control.
Lost Objects operates a private, application based community called Lost Objects: After Hours, hosted on Discord. When you apply, we collect your name, email address, portfolio links, and a short bio. This application information is collected through and stored on Discord, so your use of the community is also subject to Discord's own Privacy Policy. As part of joining, applicants must read and agree to our community Server Rules.
When you apply to join our team, we use your application details only to review your application and to contact you about the role. We never use them for marketing, and applying does not add you to our newsletter unless you sign up for it separately.
Your application is seen only by Brendan and Kyra Sweeney and is processed by Formspree. We keep it for 12 months so we can reach out if a fitting role opens up, and then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time by emailing contact@wearelostobjects.com. Beyond Formspree processing it, we never sell or share your application.
Our website doesn't set any cookies of its own. It keeps a few small values in your browser's storage to remember your preferences, such as whether you have already signed up for our newsletter or dismissed our privacy notice. We do not use third party advertising or tracking cookies. The embedded Vimeo player used for our homepage video runs in Vimeo's "do not track" mode, so it sets no tracking cookies, though Vimeo's network may set strictly necessary security cookies when the video loads. Our website, services, and community are intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
